Elise has been a co-artistic director at Washington Ensemble Theatre since 2005. With the Ensemble, Elise originated roles in the world premiers of Handcuff Girl Saves the World, WonderfulLife: The Holidays on Capitol Hill, What is Sexy?, Museum Play, Crumbs Are Also Bread, and The Ten Thousand Things. Elise has also appeared in The Mistakes Madeline Made, Iphiginia in Aulis, and Swimming in the Shallows with the Ensemble.
Regionally, Elise has appeared as “Alice” in You Can’t Take it With You at Seattle Repertory Theatre, “Cecily Cardew” in The Importance of Being Earnest at Southcoast Repertory Theatre, and “Jane” in The Women at ACT Theatre in Seattle. Elise works in marketing and event planning with the Ensemble. Elise appeared in September 2009 as “Laura” in The Glass Menagerie at Coastal Repertory Theatre in Half Moon Bay, California, where she cut her teeth as a young actor performing in plays such as The Diary of Anne Frank, The Miracle Worker, To Kill a Mockingbird, and The Sisters Rosensweig. Other Bay Area credits also include Thomasina in Arcadia at Bus Barn Stage Company. Elise graduated from the University of Washington in 2006 with a degree in Drama. |
