The Ensemble: Emily Chisholm

Emily Chisholm is an Ensemble Member, actor and teaching artist committed to living and working in Seattle. Within Washington Ensemble Theatre she assists in the Casting, Literary, and Marketing Departments. On stage, she originated the role of Archivist’s Daughter in the world premiere of Paul Mullin’s The Ten Thousand Things and will be featured this spring in Season 7.

In Seattle, Emily has worked with Seattle Repertory Theatre’s New Play Development (Asleep in the Mouth of the Crocodile and The Pullman Porter Blues), Intiman as a teaching artist for the Living History Tour and with ACT’s Young Playwright’s Program. This Fall she will be in The Borrowers at Seattle Children’s Theatre where she was previously seen in Peter Pan, In The Northern Lands: Nordic Myths, Bluenose, and The Neverending Story. Other credits include: Tryst and 13th of Paris at Seattle Public Theatre; The Servant of Two Masters at Seattle Shakespeare Company; The Birthday Party and Archangels Don’t Play Pinball at CHAC, and performances with Implied Violence, Arts West and 14/48 Theatre Festival. Originally from Oregon, Emily re-located to Seattle and received her BFA from Cornish College of the Arts.
