Jessica Hatlo is a co-artistic director of Washington Ensemble Theatre where she began working in 2007. Hatlo is the Ensemble’s resident dramaturg, literary manager, and directs both the program and productions of Queer Teen Ensemble Theatre (QTET). Credits with the Ensemble include:
Assistant Director Performances Dramaturg Director Hatlo is a collaborative theatre artist – primarily a dramaturg, director, playwright, teacher and performer – specializing in new and generative work. She has worked in these capacities at/with Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle Shakespeare Company, LiveGirls!, Implied Violence, and The Satori Group for her writing collaboration Making of A Monster presented as part of the Northwest New Works Festival 2010 at On The Boards. Coming up: the Ensemble’s season 7 workshop of her play STUCK and QTET 2011. Hatlo attended Cornish College of the Arts where she received a BFA with an emphasis in Original Works. She is originally from San Jose, CA. |
