LAST STAND
Opening 7PM on Thursday, May 15 May 22 - June 16 Seattle artist Karen Rudd presents Last Stand, an installation of realistic life-size tree stumps formed of reclaimed cardboard. Inspired by experiences as an artist fellow on an archaeology expedition near Darrington; the artist has replicated the natural growth pattern of trees in close detail, resulting in a man-made material returning to original form, both pastoral and unsettling. |

About the Gallery: THE ENSEMBLE GALLERY exists in conjunction with the WASHINGTON ENSEMBLE THEATRE as an accessible venue for inventive, genre-bending work in collaboration with the performing and visual arts communities.
