Handcuffed Girl Saves the World questions the existence and role of heroes in our society, from Batman to JFK. Using interviews with people from the community, comic books, music videos, movies, and history as source material, Handcuffed Girl Saves the World tells the story of Handcuff Girl—a modern super hero who has handcuffs for hands—and her struggle to save the world. Follow her fantastic adventure as she encounters wall-to-wall astroturf, piles of lincoln logs, severe beatings, a superhero support group, and her dreams. The world has a new hero; Handcuff Girl is here.

Writer/director KJ Sanchez (Panophobia) returns to Seattle to collaborate on this funny new play. Kurt Cobain, MLK, Wonderwoman and of course your Aunt Sally… We will uncover the history of heroes in America. Based on interviews, comics and TV shows, Handcuff Girl will meet her greatest challenge yet and look really great in a skin-tight outfit.
